Editorial, Fact-Checking & Sensitivity Policy

This policy details the algorithmic criteria, multi-source corroboration standards, country-specific sensitivity safeguards, and human editorial oversight governing every story on DigiNews AI.

1. The Strict Multi-Source Corroboration Rule

Algorithmic purity is the bedrock of DigiNews AI. We do not publish single-source rumors, anonymous whistleblower blogs, unconfirmed social media posts, or breaking alerts from solitary outlets.

An article is eligible for publication only when our ingestion engine detects concurrent coverage of the same factual event by at least two distinct, established editorial publishers with verified credentials.

  • Cluster Identification: Independent reports covering the same event are grouped via semantic clustering.
  • Source Validation: Minimum threshold of two distinct publisher domains.
  • Publisher Integrity: Prioritization of established wire agencies and reputable news organizations.

2. Country Sensitivity & Compliance Guard

Digital news operations must adhere to diverse international legal frameworks, national sovereignty laws, public safety mandates, and community harmony guidelines.

Our proprietary Sensitivity Guard evaluates incoming news stories against jurisdiction-specific rules (such as India, United States, United Kingdom, and Global mandates).

Human Editorial Escalation Threshold

Stories touching on communal sensitivity, sub-judice legal proceedings, active security operations, or contested borders that exceed the target country's sensitivity threshold (e.g. score >= 40) are automatically held in an administrative moderation queue for human verification before release.

3. Neutrality, Attribution & Corrections Policy

Synthesized reports are written in an objective, neutral third-person voice. We strictly exclude speculative commentary, editorializing, and emotional rhetoric.

Every summary features an attribution badge row citing every original publisher that corroborated the report, complete with direct external links.

If an external publisher updates, corrects, or retracts a story, our system automatically flags the story for updated synthesis or deletion. Disputed claims brought to our attention are resolved within 24 hours.

4. Multi-Paragraph Journalistic Standards & Anti-Repetition Rule

DigiNews AI strictly forbids single-sentence headline repetition across summaries, body content, and supplementary modules. Our Autonomous Multi-Source Journalist Synthesizer produces comprehensive, long-form journalistic briefs (250-350+ words) formatted in structured Markdown paragraphs.

Every published article is architected into five distinct editorial pillars: (a) Lead Catalyst unpacking who, what, when, and where; (b) Historical Background Context; (c) Multi-Source Corroboration & Stakeholder Quotations; (d) Sector, Consumer, & Economic Impact Analysis; and (e) Forward Horizon Milestones.

  • Zero Headline Echo: Summaries and body paragraphs must provide net-new factual context rather than echoing the title.
  • Fact-Checked Takeaways: 3 to 4 concrete bullet points highlighting key empirical details.
  • Dedicated Strategic Impact: Independent analysis evaluating ramifications for consumers, industry, or markets.
  • Interactive Fact FAQs: Direct answers to the most immediate contextual questions surrounding the event.
